Why Should you Attend
Fall Protection is one of the "Focus 4" Compliance Efforts from OSHA. Having the right Fall Protection working in General Industry and Construction is critical to protect workers from injuries and fatalities. A workplace fall can have a devastating impact on any organization. Not only our workers and their families impacted by a significant workplace fall injury or illness, but companies have to spend a lot of money in paying workers compensation premiums. In addition, a significant workplace injury or illness can open up an organization to increased scrutiny by OSHA leading to monetary fines and workplace citations being issued. If a workplace fall fatality occurs, in addition to OSHA fines, employees can have criminal charges filed and end up in jail.
