Instructor Profile:
Dave Sapenoff has over 40 years of progressively responsible and highly successful Labor Relations, Human Resources, and Operations experience. He began his career as a Teamsters Union organizer and business agent in the New York metro area where he developed his expertise in union organizing techniques, labor law, NLRB process, grievance processes and union local administration. After six years he moved into a management capacity with Sprint Communications, Embarq Communications and lastly with CenturyLink communications. In his capacity as Director of Labor Relations his group was responsible for the negotiation and administration of 35 collective bargaining agreements covering 10,0000 bargaining unit employees in an 18 state region. As Director of Operations- Service Delivery Dave has managed technical support groups as large as 450 employees both on and offshore.

Dave served for 16 years as adjunct faculty to Keller Graduate School and Ottawa University in the Kansas City area at both the graduate and undergraduate level teaching courses on Negotiations Skills, Labor Relations, Labor and Employment Law, Human Resources Management, Intro to Management, Micro and Macro Economics. He developed and delivered in-company training on basic negotiations skills development, labor contract administration, and human resources training. Dave holds a BA in Economics from SUNY at Cortland and a Masters Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from New York Institute of Technology.
