Flowcharts are analyzed using critical path analysis and process reliability modeling to determine effectiveness, efficiency and reliability. The outcome of such analysis depends on management's willingness to listen to its employees and process reliability data. Six Sigma data suggests the average loss due to poor management of processes varies between 25% and 40% of sales. On a scale of 1 to 6 sigma, this loss suggests an organization running at 3 sigma-not ideal!

He received his Doctorate in Management from Colorado Technical University and Master of Science in Quality Assurance from California State University.
