Catherine Mattice Zundel MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the President of consulting and training firm, Civility Partners, and has been successfully providing programs in workplace bullying and building positive workplaces since 2007. Her works got published in a variety of trade magazines and has appeared several times on national affiliates of FOX, NBC, and ABC as an expert, as well as in USA Today, Inc Magazine, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur Magazine, and MSNBC.com. Catherine is the past-President of the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), San Diego Chapter, and an adjunct at the National University and Southwestern College. In his book foreword, Ken Blanchard called her book, "BACK OFF! Your Kick-Ass Guide to Ending Bullying at Work," as the most comprehensive and valuable handbook on the topic.

Impact of New California Law on Sexual Harassment Training, Plus Laws and Impact in Other States
California, Utah, Tennessee and Nevada all have laws about workplace bullying. The California law requires that only sexual harassment trainers mention prevention of abusive conduct in their AB 1825 training. But what happens when you receive a complaint about abusive conduct once your sexual harassment trainer leaves the building? The law says you don’t have to do anything but doing nothing is not the right answer. Even if you’re not a California employer, are you going to tell employees you’re not required by law to help them deal with abusive conduct? Probably not!
